Livelihood Facilitation Centre

As a new initiative in Tamil Nadu, “Livelihood Facilitation Centre” has been set up and started functioning in Tirunelveli district.

This facilitation centre acts as a coordinating agency to create entrepreneurs by providing grants and concessions and loan schemes provided by 12 government agencies in one place to help all including women, transgender, youths, people with disabilities and the general public to start new businesses and improve their livelihoods under various government schemes. The newly established centre located at the District Collector’s Office will be functional on all working days. Those who come to this centre can know about all Government schemes in various Government departments and they select the Government Scheme that suits their requirement and they may submit their application at this center. The centre is staffed with trained staff to provide complete guidance on various government incentives, grants and loan schemes, preparation of project report, and loan assistance from banks and other institutions.
