Sexual Harassment of Women at Workspace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013

In Tamil Nadu the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workspace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 is implemented. The Department of Social Welfare is a Nodal Department under District Social Welfare Officers are the Nodal Officers implementing the Scheme in the District. As per the implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workspace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 Internal Committee (IC) have to be established in all offices where more than 10 employees worked. The District Collectors are notified as District Officers who will constitute Local Committee (LC) for below ten employees in the workplace in every district.
