About us

Tirunelveli Local Planning Area,G.O.No.1138,Rural Development & Local Dept dt/07.6.1976 declared the Composite Local Planning Authority.Tirunelveli Local Planning Area,G.O.No.1565 H & UD Dept dt/ 25.11.1988 the under section 10(1) of Palyamkottai Panchayat Union 27 villages,Manur Panchayat Union 17 villages includes enhancement being proclamation done by G.O.No. 448 H & UD Dept dt/16.06.1993.

Tirunelveli Local Planning Authority was constituted by the Government in the G.O.Ms.No.759 H & UD Dept dt/01.09.93 with the present composition of chairman and the member-secretary.District collector as chairman and the Regional Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning,Tirunelveli region as the Member secretary.The G.O. No. 267 H &UD Dept dt/01.11.2002 Assembly member including 7 Members Authority.
